About the winemaker:
The producer is Yannick – and this is his first vintage. Having worked for 28 years as a manager at Domaine Laroche – one of the big fine wine houses - in 2012 he decided to get his own vineyard. He is serious about sustainability and his approach is to do everything organically. We wants to produce wine which is the best it can be, produced in the best possible way, leaving a legacy for winemaking and the world.
In Yannick's own words:
"I am the son of a family of farmers from the Val de Loire region. Back in the 1960’s, our family was already producing crops using the “old-school” methods. Our production may have led to lower quantities, but was strong, fragrant and tasty. Naturally my interest in taste became highly developed in such a privileged and genuine environment. Nothing could have been better for me than to become a Winemaker, allowing me to work outdoors with nature."
